Audiologist in Lexington

Dr. Megan Thomas, Au.D., CCC-A

Dr. Megan Thomas graduated from the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2012 with a clinical doctorate in Audiology.  She completed her 4th year clinical rotation at the internationally recognized center for hearing and research, Boys Town National Research Hospital and was hired on as a clinical audiologist following graduation.

Dr. Thomas eventually split her time between the clinic and vestibular research lab headed by Dr. Kristen Janky, Au.D., CCC-A. In 2017, Dr. Thomas moved her family to Columbia, SC to start a position in the school district as an educational audiologist.  During that time a need for auditory processing evaluation and therapy was evident, which led to primary / primitive reflexes.

In addition to her doctoral education, Dr. Thomas has completed Master Courses in Auditory Processing Disorder Evaluation and Therapy from the Auditory Processing Institute. Most recently, she has attended Masgutova Method (MNRI) courses for primary reflexes.  Dr. Thomas is passionate about helping young kids through adults hear better by improving their auditory processing abilities and primary reflexes.
