The Signia Pure Charge&Go MaX is the first hearing aid built on Signia's new platform, called Multi-adaptive Xperience, or MaX. Most hearing aids use artificial intelligence for a single job, usually reducing background noise. MaX takes a broader approach: instead of one AI cleaning up sound, four separate AI systems work together to read the whole listening situation before the device decides how to process what you hear.
The goal is not simply to make noisy rooms quieter. It is to keep you connected to the people you want to hear while preserving your awareness of the world around you, especially in busy group conversations where hearing aids have traditionally struggled. Signia frames this with its "Live Noisy" idea: rather than cancelling the world out, the device helps you stay comfortably in it.
Signia calls its approach Acoustic Intelligence. Four AI networks, known as Deep Neural Networks, each handle a different task and share what they detect: one listens for speech, one handles noise, one tracks your own voice, and one reads the environment. Signia describes MaX as the world's first hearing aid platform with four coordinated DNNs.
MaX suits patients whose hardest listening happens in groups: family dinners, meetings, restaurants, and other settings where several people talk and interrupt each other. If following conversation with more than two people is your main frustration, this platform was designed around that.
A couple of things to confirm at your appointment: full Auracast functionality arrives through a firmware update in the Signia One app, expected by March 2027, so the hardware is ready before the feature is fully switched on, and phone compatibility can depend on your specific model. As with any hearing aid, the most advanced option is not automatically the best one for you, which is what an evaluation sorts out.
Technology this capable only performs as well as the fitting behind it. At our Columbia, SC clinic, our audiologists evaluate your hearing, measure how well you understand speech in noise, and discuss your real-world listening challenges before recommending a device. If Signia MaX is the right match, we program it to your prescription so it delivers the correct amplification, and follow up to confirm it is helping in the situations that matter to you.
